Samantha Baney, MA, LPC

Hi, I’m Sam. I am a licensed therapist and passionate about helping clients improve their quality of life while dealing with life’s challenges. The majority of my practice focuses on late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, burnout, imposter syndrome, masking, etc. I am trained in foundational DBT which is a skill-based therapy that focuses on mindfulness, acceptance, and change.

My approach is DBT oriented and neurodivergent affirming (aka meeting the client where they are at). Affirming therapy is not focused on fixing, decreasing, or taking away neurodivergent qualities. It is about supporting and encouraging these qualities to help you flourish. Different learning and thinking styles are more than welcome here!

The path to self discovery can quite literally be life saving. Understanding yourself is essential to growing as a person. Whether you are formally, self-diagnosed or even just questioning your own neurodivergence – I’d love to help you on your journey.
